I was reading a follow up on that and a kangaroo expert said the owner was lucky.
The punch caught the kangaroo by surprise.
The expert advised that the kangaroos can do a lot of damage with their back legs.
They are clearly no slouchs at controlling dogs.
If the dog did not have a collar he might have slipped that grip.
Here is a cat having similar issues.
