Ignacio,it's not for the people who don't need it,
those who have an explicit Philosophy for instance
but,I think (as in my own instance)it's a Tool for those
who picked up along the Road of Life,a Junk Heap Philosophy.
I say Tool because the work is something of a Corridor,or long Hall,with many Doors exploring different logical conclusions
to each of the past's Philosophys.at the end,as you know is
John Galt's Speech,laying the Foundation of Ayn Rand's work,
like a Carpet of empowerment proclaiming that:Man exists for
his own sake,the first level of value,Slave to no Man,
creator of all value;and the banishment of the Mystic Mind
back to the Witch Doctor Huts from which the enslavers of mens
minds first crawled.To release the Shackles,Religion,
Altruism,Plato,Kant by exposing these sofistrys,these tricks,
to the Light of Reason is her Gift,an Arsenal to protect
the Value from the Evil,one which(as a Public School Student)
I needed.for those who are born with a coherent Philosophy
this work(Atlas)is redundant,move on to higher level abstractions;
the level of sensations is the level of Muck,Junk,and Heaps.
A Crutch is temporary;the Vaccine of Reason is a perminant Cure.
