George, Murphy makes his money from information. I would be surprised if he did not have a reasonably skilled information gathering system (network, personnel, what the heck--maybe a Private Eye or two). There are a lot of ways to gather information. Industrial espianoge is still alive and well, and any organization that does not practice a 100% shredding policy is a potential source. It doesn't take Mission Impossible tactics, I remember the Soviets caught wind of Star Wars via a note tossed into a trash can somewhere in the DC area. Seems the janitor was on Russia's payroll.
