m.n.muench, can you recommend some sci-fi that is well written? i wouldn't mind reading some but don't know where to start and don't want to take the time reading tons of garbage to find a few good books. i did like the character Michael Valentine in Heinlein's "Stranger in A Strange Land". do you know of a series of books that have a cripple as main character? he goes off on some adventures and finds himself. the set was recommended to me but unfortunately the guy recommending them couldn't remember the author or titles. lots of luck with the browser. this form of grief has no right to exist. i commiserate with you. i'm one of those computer illiterates that wings it with a prayer and salt over the left shoulder. ghunk
