At least two companies have been working on this technology - Alderley and FL Smidth. I suspect that Chesapeake submitted ore sample to both companies for evaluation. Normally very cautious, Randy is swinging for a home run here. And over the years, he has criticized the majors for wasteful spending practices and detrimental acquisitions. So Randy must be convinced that this heap leach technology will work at Metates. I expect Chesapeake to provide more detailed information on the technology in the new year.
