for what it's worth...
TA works for me in determining
specific entry/exit points as well as
understanding the underlying intention,
for lack of a better term, of trading in particular contexts.

however, and more importantly in a story
such as the one unfolding here, it has little value in a void.
the technicals must be viewed within the general psychology
and fundamentals...

we hit the wall at 3/4, but i felt today, the market trend had more
to do with our inability to break through, than idti individually.
in other words, we may well have broken through had the
broader market endorsed it.

but given another shot or two,
with its internal strength, it may yet buck the trend.
