Fwd Payout Ratio is 65.80%

I use Dividend.com to get this data. It's now a paid site but they used to provide years (over 20) of the payout ratio by quarter. Payout ratio is a good metric to use when comparing your other dividend payers in addition to yield.

I like to see payout ratio below 50% and the lower the better since retained earnings allows more capital for investments (think Capx) and opportunities to generate more growth.

If you can find a 'sweet spot' of low payout ratio, reasonable yield, operating in growth sector and Mid-Size (to Large) market Cap (implies can grow), then it's a formula for increasing dividends.
