Hi E_K_S,

The dividend payout has bounced from low 60's last quarter from below 50 in last year.

I've also seen a year to date payout and a quarterly pay out - it gets worked both better and worse than it has been (I think depending on whether it is a bullish view or a bearish hit job review.

Below 50 is darn sure good in my world.

I think Stankey is a hard nosed tough business man. He stopped the heavy discount promo's for Direct TV. lost a lot of "promo" subscribers, but improved cash flow and profitability from Direct TV.

He worked a hard deal with Amazon and is still slow to get the deal done with Roku.

We'll get to see how the cash flow comes in this year.

If it is on the surprise side as it had been pre-covid, we'll be seeing 40's soon.

So far management has been confidently doing better than guided, I don't see that changing.

What would be nice is all of the negative "TOO much debt" articles take a break, and let management keep non core asset sales being reviewed. When good money is offered, cut it loose , pay down debt, and get leaned out with focus only on core competencies.

It's a big company and it has a LOT of assets. Drive through any big city and there is a tall AT&T building downtown and/or in the suburbs.

No one is giving up their smartphones that I know of. Pretty solid business sector with real 5G yet to really be offered.
