Linda & Truff RE: Buying spurt
Glad to see you're still here, Truff, and as usual, I'm impressed and educated by the shrewdness of your strategy. A thousand apologies for accusing you of desertion and weak knees.
I have to disagree with Linda, though, that this buying spurt has resulted from a product announcement, namely, the inclusion of the Zip in the sound-editing product. That may have helped a little, or may have even precipitated things, but the movement was too big just for that. Instead, don't you think investors were just waiting for the selling frenzy to level off before plunging back in to pick up this still-solid and growing company at a bargain price? At a trailing PE of under 20, it's a giveaway, even if the Jaz is vulnerable and the Zip is going to take a while to get the default A: slot in every box shipped. For the first time since spring 1996, I'm thinking seriously about buying some more.
Or did I miss some other product announcement somewhere in the THOUSANDS of messages all you Iomaniacs have been posting here? <g>
Cheers, Tom (long IOM)
P.S. to E.G.: I think that town may be Cropseyville, not Corpseville. My wife suggested that to me when I told her the tale (which I couldn't do without stopping to crack up laughing several times, especially when I told her about your reply to my joke, Linda). I'll never drive through there again without smiling. <g> |
