They may increase taxes. But, from what I see, all politicians at this point have recognized the greatest discovery of the century - Infinite Borrowing. They’ve convinced themselves in what they passionately wanted to believe - that they can borrow unlimited amounts, and forever. That’s what will be funding all the great Dem initiatives - GW, free healthcare and education, infrastructure, and so on. This will work until it doesn’t - at which point, we will need MORE government, lockdowns, sacrifice... to lead us out of the difficult times. By that time, everyone and the media will have forgotten how and why it all happened.
