One thing I don't understand - all this time, surely President Trump should have been realizing what Barr was (and wasn't) doing. Yet there Barr was, still in his job, up to now, and it surely wan't my prior post wondering why the President didn't use his superb firing skills to fire Barr that promote him! (If it is - "Hi President Tump, thank you for reading this on SI, can I have your autograph?") :-) Maybe there is a reason behind all this, not apparent to us yet. The president is extremely intelligent, he has done very convoluted things that at the end all the pieces came together to the benefit of what he was trying to achieve. Sometimes you need to lose things to win the whole thing. You need to go down in order to go up and all the zen stuff. That's why he's been winning so much.
