Charlie Trig · Can Trump pardon himself, his children, and many more of his Trump team, admitting to crimes, and then still run for President again? No. The president of the United States cannot pardon himself. For the same reason Robert Mueller couldn’t charge Trump with criminal obstruction of justice; a Justice Dept. memo. Basically, the memo that has kept Don the Con out of prison stating that a sitting president cannot be prosecuted, has a brother that was written a year later that states a president cannot pardon himself. For all the people that want to read proof, here is the link: justice.gov So he can pardon his family, his friends, his wife, but not himself. But federal pardons don’t cover state crimes. So, does it really matter?
