No. The president of the United States cannot pardon himself. For the same reason Robert Mueller couldn’t charge Trump with criminal obstruction of justice; a Justice Dept. memo.

Basically, the memo that has kept Don the Con out of prison stating that a sitting president cannot be prosecuted, has a brother that was written a year later that states a president cannot pardon himself. For all the people that want to read proof, here is the link:

So he can pardon his family, his friends, his wife, but not himself. But federal pardons don’t cover state crimes. So, does it really matter?
