Hi Klaas, thanks for joining this discussion! I know there was a "Compression Technologies" subject, but for some reason it has been inactive and abandoned. When I asked Randy about Interop at Atlanta, he seemed to dodge the question, but implied that the AT&T negotiations came about from it. Prior to Interop, I distinctly remember seeing information about a memorandum of understanding that the companies would deal with each other. So, I don't know if the show just served to exhibit what the companies could collectively produce, or what... > I also understand that all hardware is assembled outside > CYH. Is this good for the company? This is common practice for many smaller electronics manufacturers. CYH does the research and development, but contract out the work once they have a working and approved prototype. An assembly plant is expensive to put up and operate, especially if you're not constantly yielding a product. I think CYH focuses their resources on one or two projects at a time, as opposed to big companies like Northern Telecom. Ben
