Highlights of the News

Donald John Trump is still our president.

Mister Magoo was the best Scrooge ever.

ITEM 1: San Diego's restaurant industry was saved on Thursday by a G-string.

The Associated Press reported, "A California judge cleared the way Thursday for all restaurants in San Diego County to resume on-site dining, marking a major, if temporary, setback to the governor’s stay-at-home order to slow the spread of the coronavirus before the state's intensive care units run out of beds.

"Gov. Gavin Newsom immediately appealed, bringing uncertainty to restaurant owners weighing whether to buy food and schedule staff a week before Christmas amid the possibility that their victory could soon be reversed.

"The case brought to the court by two San Diego strip clubs handed the biggest victory yet to California businesses fighting public health orders that they say have crippled them economically.

"San Diego Superior Court Judge Joel Wohlfeil said his ruling Wednesday was straightforward in going beyond the strip clubs that sued the county and state, Cheetahs Gentlemen’s Club and Pacers Showgirls International. County officials requested the hearing to clarify its scope."

Last month, the same judge ruled that strip joints have First Amendment rights and must remain open.

Get that man on the U.S. Supreme Court. He can replace Johnny Ring Roberts.

ITEM 2: Breitbart reported, "Billionaire GOP mega-donor Charles Koch is urging elected Republicans and Democrats to pass amnesty for illegal aliens and increase legal immigration levels, even as 24.5 million Americans remain jobless or underemployed.

"Koch, in an op-ed with Brian Hooks of Stand Together, writes that Republicans and Democrats should come together to give amnesty to the roughly 11 to 22 million illegal aliens living in the United States and increase legal immigration levels beyond the 1.2 million green cards given to foreign nationals annually."

Koch is a longtime supporter of diluting citizenship to make it meaningless. I guess you have to be a billionaire and a liberal to get in the club Koch aspires to belong to.

ITEM 3: Sean Davis reported, "Top U.S. intelligence officials were so concerned heading into the 2016 election that the Russians were aware of and potentially manipulating Democratic presidential candidate Hillary Clinton’s plans to smear Donald Trump as a Russian agent that they personally briefed President Barack Obama on the matter, newly declassified Central Intelligence Agency (CIA) documents show. CIA officials also requested that the FBI investigate Russian knowledge of the Clinton campaign’s collusion smear operation.

"Newly declassified handwritten notes from former CIA Director John Brennan show that the U.S. intelligence community knew in 2016 that Russian intelligence was actively monitoring, and potentially injecting disinformation into, Clinton’s anti-Trump collusion narrative. The intelligence concerning Russia’s knowledge of Clinton’s campaign plans was so concerning to Brennan and other national security officials that they personally informed Obama of the matter in the Oval Office in the summer of 2016. The handwritten notes from Brennan were declassified by Director of National Intelligence (DNI) John Ratcliffe and provided to Congress on Tuesday afternoon.

"According to the declassified notes, Brennan and the U.S. intelligence community knew months prior to the 2016 election that the collusion smear was the result of a campaign operation hatched by the campaign of Democratic presidential candidate Hillary Clinton."

My guess is they did the same thing to Romney.

In Watergate, we were told the cover up was worse than the crime.

They lied.

The cover up lets you get away with murder.

ITEM 4: The Cincinnati Enquirer reported, "A federal judge Wednesday blasted Ohio officials and the state's policy of preventing transgender people from changing the sex marker of their birth certificates.
U.S. District Court Judge Michael Watson order that the policy be reversed immediately calling it unconstitutional. He said there was no rationale for the policy, which was apparently only put in place in 2016.

"Watson said that that Ohio's policy closely resembles the policy struck down in the landmark LGBT equal protection case Romer v. Evans."

Their goal is the destruction of all of society's mores.

Nothing in the Constitution allows this. He is not only rewriting law but biology. We gave the government way too much power.

This will not end pleasantly. I suggest LGBTers look at Red China's LGBT record because that is where America is headed. Gays had a good old time in Berlin in the Weimar Republic. Then came Hitler.

That is how evil works.

ITEM 5: Chrissy Clark reported, "Student activists at the University of Oregon are attempting to remove the College Republicans from campus for attending a Stop the Steal rally.

"Members of the university's student government are working to de-platform the club by cutting off its organizational funding and revoking its status as an official campus group. The governing body has yet to dissolve the club, though it unanimously passed a resolution calling for 'cultural competency training' for all organizations during a meeting with College Republican leaders. Student activists have since called on the group to condemn white supremacy and political violence, a condemnation it has issued several times."

1950: Are you now or have you ever been a member of the Communist Party?

2020: Are you now or have you ever been a member of the Republican Party?

Bear in mind, Democrats ran the House Un-American Activities Committee.

ITEM 6: Kevin Daley reported, "The Supreme Court on Monday turned down a request to salvage a Kansas law that required residents to provide proof of citizenship when registering to vote, despite pleas from Kansas lawyers and almost 20 red states.

"Kansas's red-state allies used the case to mount a broader attack on a legal test that in their view gives judges too much power in election-security disputes. Former Kansas secretary of state Kris Kobach (R.) championed the law and personally defended it in court against an ACLU lawsuit.

"The Secure and Fair Elections (SAFE) Act required Kansans to produce documentary proof of citizenship when registering to vote. U.S. District Judge Julie Robinson struck the SAFE Act down in 2018. Robinson said it conflicted with a federal law that requires state officials to use "the minimum amount of information necessary" to determine voter eligibility. She also found the SAFE Act unconstitutional, saying the burden it placed on voters outweighed the state's interest in protecting elections."

The goal is to make citizenship meaningless.

Democrats passed and a Democrat signed that unconstitutional ban in 1994.

2020 was 26 years or more in the planning.

ITEM 7: The New York Post reported, "A 9-year-old girl in the UK who died following an asthma attack is believed to be the first person in the world to have air pollution listed as their cause of death.

"Exposure to excessive air pollution played a significant role in the 2013 death of Ella Kissi-Debrah, a coroner found in a landmark ruling Wednesday."

The report's actual words were " Ooh Eeh Ooh Ah Aah Ting Tang Walla Walla Bing."

ITEM 8: Real Clear Politics reported, "Last week an opinion piece in the Wall Street Journal by Joseph Epstein provoked a heated debate over the use of the honorific Dr. by future first lady Jill Biden when the writer suggested that only medical doctors should use the courtesy title, rather than anyone with a doctorate. The op-ed drew considerable backlash, with widespread support expressed across news outlets and among the punditry for her use of the prefix. Yet, a close examination of media coverage of Jill Biden over the course of this year suggests that for all their outrage, some of the very media outlets most critical of the op-ed have themselves consistently omitted her preferred title.

"The debate over whether all doctorate holders should be referred to as Dr. isn’t new. In 2018 some news outlets, including NPR, declined to use the prefix in referring to Brett Kavanaugh accuser Christine Blasey Ford. In the words of NPR’s standards editor at the time, 'the idea is that for most listeners a Dr. practices medicine.'

"Nor is the debate over Dr. Biden itself a new one. Her use of the title prompted a similar debate when she became the second lady in 2009, with journalists noting that her predecessor Lynne Cheney also held a doctorate but chose not to use the honorific. The Washington Post’s copy desk chief was quoted at the time as saying, 'My feeling is if you can’t heal the sick, we don’t call you doctor' – Epstein’s words almost verbatim. The Los Angeles Times clarified to its readers that “newspapers, including The Times, generally do not use the honorific Dr. unless the person in question has a medical degree;' as such, the Times declined to address Biden this way."

Journalists seldom use doctor for anyone without a medical degree.

The Associated Press style book says, "Use Dr. in first reference as a formal title before the name of an individual who holds a doctor of dental surgery, doctor of medicine, doctor of optometry, doctor of osteopathic medicine, doctor of podiatric medicine, or doctor of veterinary medicine: Dr. Jonas Salk."

But once again, Democrat Privileges rears its ugly, two-faced head.

ITEM 9: Sundance reported, "As many state and regional leaders crush their small business owners under the weight of insufferable and unscientific COVID-19 restrictions, Florida Governor Ron DeSantis goes in the exact opposition direction. Governor DeSantis highlights his concern about the economic and financial impact to businesses and workers in the state.

"The Florida Governor holds a press conference at a local restaurant today promising that all small business owners, restaurants and bars in the state will remain open and free to conduct business. COVID-19 will be managed, but we will not destroy families with arbitrary rules and dictates holding no foundation in science. God Bless DeSantis!"

2024 may be a good year for the Florida Man.

ITEM 10: Zero Hedge reported, "As tens of thousands of doses of the new Pfizer COVID-19 vaccine make their way across the country, some health workers - first on the list to receive the two-stage jab - are leery of the emerging treatment which mainstream pundits warned would take a 'miracle' to produce before the end of the year.

"And while public concerns over the vaccine have eased compared to polling conducted before the November election, a not-insignificant number of health workers are unwilling to take the shot. Perhaps they're concerned about taking the fastest vaccine developed in Western history, developed to treat a mysterious new virus which primarily kills the elderly (though can have lasting effects on people of all ages save for children)."

The story also said, "At one Chicago hospital where the city's first COVID-19 vaccine was administered on Tuesday, 40% of the staff said in a survey earlier this month that they would not take it."

Pfizer's CEO also said he will wait in line.

This instills zero confidence in the vaccine.

Hey, I thought Bush, Clinton and Obama were going to take one for the team on live TV to show how safe it is.

When is it scheduled? What station is it on?

Meanwhile, Citizen Free Press reported, "Nurse passes out on live TV after taking vaccine."

Yes, I am in no hurry to get the hot.

ITEM 11: Stephen Green reported, "A pair of gunshot deaths that counted among COVID fatalities have earned the ire of a county coroner in Colorado.

"Grand County, in the sparsely-populated (but breathtaking) northwestern quarter of the state, is home to fewer than 15,000 people and has been lucky enough to endure only a handful of deaths related to the Wuhan Virus.

"But of those five deaths, County Coroner Brenda Bock says two actually died of gunshot wounds."

When we outlaw guns, only viruses will have guns.

ITEM 12: Zero Hedge reported, "In rare new comments in response to widespread allegations from the West that Russian opposition figure Alexei Navalny was poisoned by Kremlin agents, President Vladimir Putin told reporters at a major annual news conference Thursday that he simply wasn't important enough to be a target.

"'It's a trick to attack the leaders (of Russia)' Putin said. 'But that absolutely does not mean he needs to be poisoned. Who needs him?'

"And in perhaps the most provocative and mocking statement, Putin added, 'If someone had wanted to poison him they would have finished him off.'"

Fact check: True.

And Putin would have said, no, Mr. Navalny, I expect you to die.

ITEM 13: Politico reported, "The Energy Department and National Nuclear Security Administration, which maintains the U.S. nuclear weapons stockpile, have evidence that hackers accessed their networks as part of an extensive espionage operation that has affected at least half a dozen federal agencies, officials directly familiar with the matter said.

"On Thursday, DOE and NNSA officials began coordinating notifications about the breach to their congressional oversight bodies after being briefed by Rocky Campione, the chief information officer at DOE.

"They found suspicious activity in networks belonging to the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission (FERC), Sandia and Los Alamos national laboratories in New Mexico and Washington, the Office of Secure Transportation at NNSA, and the Richland Field Office of the DOE.

"The hackers have been able to do more damage at FERC than the other agencies, and officials there have evidence of highly malicious activity, the officials said, but did not elaborate."

Why are we putting secrets on computers that are hooked to the Internet?

ITEM 14: The Daily Mail reported, "Joe Biden's son Hunter is planning his first solo art exhibit at Manhattan's upscale Georges Bergès Gallery, according to a new report.

"Hunter Biden, 50, has no professional background as an artist, instead working most recently as a lawyer and investment advisor on a range of foreign deals that have drawn scrutiny from the Justice Department.

"However, he is currently signing a deal to be represented by Georges Bergès Gallery in SoHo, with a solo exhibition planned for next year, sources told Page Six."

It is a new way to collect bribes. Buy a painting to rent a politician.

He is literally a con artist now.

ITEM 15: Becket Adams wrote, "The Moody College of Communication at the University of Texas at Austin unveiled this week two awards honoring disgraced former CBS News anchor Dan Rather.

"'The Dan Rather Medals for News and Guts honor the process of journalism as much as the end product,' the organization announced Wednesday. 'They will be awarded to professional and collegiate journalists who go the extra yard — overcoming obstacles like stonewalling and harassment — to get the story that tells truth to power.'

"A spokesperson for the Moody College of Communication confirmed in a response to the Washington Examiner that the awards are, in fact, real and that they are not part of an elaborate joke."

Oh, the awards are an elaborate joke. Rather and the college just do not realize it.

ITEM 16: Via Instapundit, finally an explanation of why covid 19 knocked Chris Cuomo, then 49, down for two weeks while President Trump, 74, was good to go within 72 hours.

Hindu Business Line reported, "According to a study carried out by researchers from the United States and Saudi Arabia, there is a direct correlation between low testosterone levels, inflammatory cytokines, disease progression, and worse outcomes in male Covid-19 patients.

"The study, published in the journal Medical Hypotheses, stated that ACE2 receptor cells, which SARS-CoV-2 clings on to proliferate, is also expressed in the Leydig cells of the testis as a constitutive product, this affects the secretion of testosterone in male Covid-19 patients."

ITEM 17: United Press International reported, "The Justice Department on Wednesday filed a lawsuit against the University of Vermont Medical Center, accusing it of forcing a woman to assist with an abortion against her religious objections.

"In the lawsuit filed in the U.S. District Court of the District of Vermont, federal prosecutors accused the hospital of violating the Church Amendments, a federal anti-discrimination statute, when it scheduled the unnamed nurse to assist with an elective abortion despite the medical professional having place her name on an objector list against performing the medical procedure on religious grounds."

Communists hate religion because it gives people hope.
