Phil, As much as I hate to admit it, the best explanations are found on Micron's Web Page. Old pieces by Kip, the company spin doctor, are good reading. You have to consider the source of the Pollyanna projections, but the scientific descriptions are both solid and easy to understand. As far as industry analysts go, I don't pay much attention to them except when they say something extremely ignorant. Most don't know excrement from a brand of shoe polish. However, you can usually get their views from their disciples and their critics on the "Micron Only" thread. MB
