Small businesses are shutting. That is what we are seeing. People are moving in with relatives. My less affluent students are becoming food insecure- so the schools are stepping up food hand outs. It is not a good time to be lower middle class or poor. There is a great divide that is ever widening between the haves and the have nots- and those who would embrace the 1920's paradigm will live to regret it- we all know what followed the 20's- though I doubt we even get that far. It's pretty grim out there in America. It's not just BLM to put people's panties in a twist- there's hunger, and insolvency and rampant homelessness. That ought to make people wet themselves- since that triumvirate can destabilize our society.
