Am familiar w/ fang fang (the writer of Wuhan) google.com , and have no difficulty in endorsing some of her engagement in domestic affairs of China, where she is, as opposed to championing her saying anything about what other domains should and should not do, and as far as am aware she has not kibitzed on matters in and of any other domain.
Suspect that due to her obvious domestic focus, she might not understand that what she does might not be for the greater good because her world view might not be global / macro, and too parochial.

If so, yes, China has spies in a lot of places. So does every other domain, and in China.
That is a side-pocket gaming that goes on and on and on. Do not believe spies do much to meddle, kibitz, or influence in domestic affairs. They spy.
Legislators who are not focused on what they are supposed to do, solving own nation’s issues, tend to tiresomely meddle, tirelessly kibitz, or otherwise endlessly influence, do color revolutions, engage in regime-changes, etc etc, and such is not a Team China specialty. China tends not to even try to tell other nations what to do about their internal / domestic affairs. Busy-bodying is not China’s way.
External affairs? Yes, and spies and such get involved. Fair game, and must-engage game. |
