From my Doctor

Hello Mr. Millan,
Thank you for your query. In regards to the Henry Ford Study, it was a retrospective study meaning it was looked at after the fact and controls were not in place to eliminate other biases like the gold standard PROSPECTIVE studies are. So looking at that study closely, the people who got hydroxychloroquine were also the ones who were much more likely to have received steroids. It is thought the steroids were the main reason for the decreased mortality. PROSPECTIVE studies have shown Hydroxychloroquine to not be beneficial and Steroids to be beneficial. For this reason Kaiser along with virtually all medical organizations have not jumped on the henry ford bandwagon and are we are trying to follow the best science out there. I hope that clarifies.
Be safe.
