MVL and UAWG is the part that I don't understand <<I agree in principle, but this UAWG thing puts a lot into the air (as if telco dragging hasn't been enough when we already "have" a standard.) Various things I have read discuss MVL, while not being DMT, being "spectrally friendly". Trust I will research the basis and meaning of this claim.>> If I understand things correctly, how can MVL (a CAP solution) be "spectrally friendly" with a DMT solution. So the whole UAWG thing doesn't make sense to me. Unless it is being done for political reasons.
