Well, this year has been the best year for my portfolio since 2009-10. So I'm doing well, but I'm not gloating or laughing about it. In fact, it is emblematic of everything wrong with this country. The government locks down the economy like totalitarian Communists with no scientific evidence this does anything good, impoverishing tens of millions of people in the 99% and then prints and spend trillions that enrich only the top 1%. Look at this latest pork monstrosity they call the COVID relief bill that is one giant pork laden obscenity.
However, this isn't about me or you, is it? I've been around the block a few times myself and I'm no spring chicken. So I'll tell you this. I used to not care about politics, because the pendulum would reliably swing back and forth, back and forth. However, you know what is different about it all this time? They brazenly stole an election using massive and multiple fraud schemes. They didn't hide it. And worst of all, the whole world knows it. This is fundamentally different, because the paradigm has shifted. We can no longer rely on the predictable pendulum swinging back the other way. The mechanism holding the pendulum broke and fell off. What we have now is one party rule by the Democrats, aided and abetted by the FBI, CIA, DOJ, all major mainstream media, social media tech companies, and we are infiltrated at almost every level by Communists and by Chinese spies.
The Trump supporters understand that something is very wrong, but most don't really understand the true depth of how screwed we are. The Democrats think they are doing a great thing getting Trump out of office, but they forgot that if you destroy the system, there is nothing left for you either.
We no longer have fair elections. Exactly how will the pendulum swing back the other way? Communism is taking over this country. Carolyn, who is also no spring chicken, was 100% right when she said, "Hell is coming."
The fact that you don't see it is not surprising. Most people don't. My grandfather in Cuba didn't see it either and he lost everything. Thankfully, he got out with his life and we were able to rebuilding the USA. But when the USA is gone, where will anyone rebuild? There is no place left to run.
