Some of that might be true, but there is usually never one single reason to go to war. Obviously 9/11 happened and Saddam was being a dick by violating the no fly zone and messing with inspectors. But Dems voted for that war along with repubs and then the military industrial complex took over and Bush was too weak to enact an exit strategy.
