One month ago-almost to the day, I posted a bullish report
on Martek Biosciences Corp. Well, the stock is down about 2 points from the last postling but the story is better now than it was before.
Why did the stock hit 20 recently without any bad news? Well, a mutual
fund company associated with A.G. Edwards was selling the stock-interestingly, the stock went down on light volume. They are done sellling the stock so that has helped-just look at the last week whej it shot up 5.75. This is a great company and many imminent organizations in the medical profession can attest to the value of
DHA/ARA fatty acids in infant neural and mental development. I am not the only bull on the stock-Alex Zisson of Hambrecht & Quist reiterated a strong buy on Martek about 1 month ago. The CEO of Martek likes the prospects-at least, if he didn't why would he own more than 5% of the stock? Any comments welcome--is Bill Small still out in cyberspace following the co.?
