>>>Yes, the CD absolutely does work, they had them set up in the back of the room and gave us a step by step demonstration. The product is being used successfully.

Jan,

I think the question by c-man and I am interested to know too, is how well does the CD work in helping companies assessing the Y2K problems? Does it list out the components that are not Y2K compliant, does it present a step by step approach to do the assessment, how well is it organized, does is it use some kind of top down approach, bottom up approach, relational database approach, does it have some kind of modeling methodology to represent the data flow in a factory, what kind of report does it produce, etc. ?

Of course, the CD has to work like it doesn't crash while running (that will be a disaster if it does), but the real issue is what makes companies spend money to buy the CD? Is there any value added here?

I don't want to sound ungrateful but I am disappointed reading the reports from people who attend the SHM so far. All what I hear so far is reports that the problem is serious, the number of companies that TAVA may have signed up, but nobody has convinced me yet that TAVA has the solution to the problems.

I have already seen the sandwitch but where is the beef?
