We agree that countries can and have confiscated gold and may happen again. That’s what makes Bitcoin so interesting. I can cross a border with a million in BTC on a thumb drive, or if my memory is good with just a long number in my brain. They tried to set up George Papadopolous by giving him a mere $10,000 to see if he would bring it across the border so they could arrest him.

Yes Bitcoin can be used for illegal activities but so can hundred dollar bills. I don’t think illegal activities account for much of Bitcoin.
