| | | investing in office space today, seems, well, why? That is the reason.
One result of the pandemic may be a PERMANENT reduction in demand for office space. Or maybe not. We have a tendency to extrapolate the present longer into the future than warranted. I think people like to meet other people, at work too, even if you maybe don't love everyone you work with. We're social creatures, and so profoundly so that I think it is conducive to productivity, and, furthermore, to the bottom line. I think it's more probable that we'll go back to something that resembles pre-pandemic conditions, than the opposite (i.e. no offices). Right now, the market sentiment on office space seem overly bearish, in my opinion. |
