In the Art of War, there's a strategy called the Elastic Defense which has been used highly successfully by many armies since WW I and earlier...
Elastic Defense, also known as Defense in Depth was a tactical doctrine that was used in various forms by different nations during World War I and II, notably Germany and Japan...
The Elastic Defense’s basic principles consist of minimizing casualties to one’s own side while maximizing casualties to the other side’s troops... to do this, an elastic defense would give up land to the enemy in exchange for retaining a defensive line... this gives the enemy the false sense of easy victory in order to get them to relax their own defenses... the genius of this strategy is that it weakens the enemy over time...
The advancing enemy thinks the battle is won, they take their victory lap, and they eventually count Donald completely out of the fight...
THIS is exactly what he's doing right now...
AND THEN, when the enemy is relaxed and celebrating, he counter attacks with overwhelming force and destroys the enemy when they are completely caught off guard...
Remember, Donald is a counter puncher, that he's being quiet is exactly his plan... he want everyone to count him out and the obvious fact that many of his very staunch supporters are already giving up is part of his strategy...
Don't surrender and don't count him out...
