That is why so many progressives like Bernie, he fights. And he is fearless. People forget, but clear back in Bernie's college days he was actively protesting things like segregated dorms. I think it was dorms I know he was fighting racism, like the rest of we liberals.. And this is why the minorities stick with we liberal dems, even as they are conservative. We didn't just protest racism, we got on the bus with the victims. Bernie has his personality issues, but no one can accuse him of not fighting the good fight. The right wing always says we take the African American for granted, which is nuts. We liberal Democrats made a home for the African American when they were under siege by the conservative racists and they are grateful.
