"You have to accept the reality Trump is no longer in the GOP." The GOP isn't in the GOP any more. Trump has his own thing going, and I don't think it's gonna disappear before the '22 election. A lot of governors and secretaries of state are gonna be primaried because they certified a Biden win. I also think his future legal problems will only re-enforce support from his cult. That McConnell is blocking the $2000 is evident and undeniable. I think he will be successful... So do I, at least this year. If I was him, I might try to do something before the 20th, so that Trump could sign it, and then try to block any additional money that Biden wants. I'm not sure that he sees a 51-50 Senate as an obstacle to blocking everything, if he decides to go that route.
