I have a herd of goats who are quite willing travel companions. I don't hike with them as much as I used to...the more recent generation seems rather wussy compared to my old faithfuls. However, they are strong and willing packers and can handle just about any terrain...the steeper and wilder, the more they like it... Oh, and you don't have to bother packing milk for your coffee either... ;-}
