Tommaso,

In Asia I would look at Malayasia, Thailand and even Hong Kong. I suggest focusing only on the blue chips. Examples would be SIDBY, GEBEY, BKKPF, SHWCY, CPPKY, SWRAY etc. The trick is to buy them on the next panic. Right now my Asian portfolio is way up and to me it's looks like ripe for at least a small correction. My highest gain ytd has been in thailand.

Indonesia is a little more tricky but TLK, IIT should be okay at the right price. I have recently sold them both and would buy them back at the next down turn.

In Japan I would look at TKIOY. I was lucky to buy it below 43 and also sold it recently (hoping to buy it back on the next Japanese down turn). I think when and if Japan recovers this will be a good proxy for the Japanese market.

Good luck with Asia

Jyoti
