At one point earlier this year we were at a measly 26 cents Canadian. I did not have enough in investments to cover even three months of mortgage, bills, loans and living expenses and was basically getting by month to month on our salaries and Annie's pension. I was feeling very low as I had on paper lost so much of my hard earned savings, and the pathetic amount left on paper was embarrassingly little to show for 50 years of working. (We do have a lot of house equity, which would have been something to leave the kids at least).

As of close today, our Zen investment is equal to more than four years of gross income (salaries and Anne's pension/OAS). Since Tuesday's opening alone we made a lot more than 100K - even with yesterday's pull back

The truly amazing thing is this is just the beginning of of the beginning,

All my life I have included the word "prosperous" in my New Year's wishes to family and friends. Tonight I have no doubt that it will be just that, in spades, for everyone on this board.

So here is to 2021, and an end to Covid and all the restriction so we can at some point get together in person and pat each other on the back!!! I always wanted to be able to rub shoulders with worthy fellow millionaires :)
