A little bit of clarity on Rocket Red.

At one time (I think) he owned a fair chunk of Zen stock, and he was the one more than any other who threw out the term ‘KA-BOOOOOM’ during the last run-up to $5. About that time a poster named Sultan gave up moderating the other Zen board (Benton is currently moderating) and Rocket Red assumed the new duties. During Zen's slide back down he began bashing Zen, and it became a bit uncomfortable posting knowing that he no longer had skin in the game and seemed to have a bit of anger and an axe to grind with the company. I reminded him once in a post of his bashing and I was given a ban by him that lasted more than 2 years (maybe more – I can’t recall). He banned quiet a few other people too who were positive Zen shareholders.

So, at this time (last day of 2020 and first day of 2021) he's decided to remind us he still has an axe to grind. If the rest of you want him gone just reco this post en mass and I’ll do so - but I really think we are talking 16 + recos to do so (I'm not sure I'm really big on voting a poster out of a room like its a popularity contest but in this case (non shareholder/bashing) I think it may be appropriate).

My two cents of input – I think he’s harmless. He’s a significant and long time SI contributor and moderates many boards. Hooter obviously has some background with him that has been positive, and there are two sides to every story. But with all due respect Hooter (and I really do have the utmost respect for you), I’ve read hundreds of RR's posts through the years and never once been impressed by anything he has to say (I should qualify that I’ve only read his Zen-related postings).

*P.S. – Also, RR did not start this board, nor the other Zen board on SI. I believe ‘Clear’ started this board after we all exited Agoracom following moderator Larry Hoover’s decision to start banning people en mass who stood up and opposed his anti-Zen rhetoric.
