Why do some people dislike Donald Trump?

[ This was the very first sign I saw that Trump was a worthless cur. ]

John McCain got the living s*** beat out of him by the Viet Cong as a Prisoner of War for six years. Not six days. Not six months. Six years. When his captors found out his father was a U.S. Navy Admiral, they offered him early release. He refused until all of his fellow POWs could be released at the same time. John McCain dealt with the effects of his deprivation and injuries for the rest of his life.

40 years later, the giant steaming pile of refuse that is Donald Trump, casually says of McCain, “I like war heroes who weren't captured.”

Like it's a punchline to a joke.

And two years after McCain's passing, Donald Trump tweets that he was “never a fan" of McCain and cruelly insults his widow.

There are many other reasons I do not like Trump (Who did not serve in the military due to “bone spurs"), but I find his disparagement and denigration of a man who served our country, and suffered for the rest of his days because of his imprisonment, to be the most egregious.
