It only goes to an address used by a taxpayer who uses that address to pay taxes or receive Social Security. So it is verifying the communication and validity. When the money showed up 1/1/2021, that was already a verified address that will receive SS on the 1st, 2nd, or 3rd Wednesday of January. MOL.
