Dave, that's what makes me think the Q has to make some sort of deal here. I am as enthusiastic as anybody over what they've accomplished, and think their engineering talent is superb. And I appreciate the multi-hundred million dollar risk they took to get IS95 off the dime. That said, I cannot find examples of a company sustaining themselves on royalty income alone IN THIS FIELD. The drug companies seem to do a damn good job of it, but as you point out even INTC has only a few that are worthwhile. I own LU and to a large extent, it's a bet on their patent portfolio which is so huge that I figure there's got to be a few nuggets in there. At the end of the day though, INTC's power is a function of market share, not a piece of paper in vault. Mike Doyle
