Wharfie, why the heck is California seeing so many new cases of COVID-19 these days? After all, our state practically leads the nation in terms of shutdowns, mask mandates, and social distance warriors showing their righteous indignation. Yet we're averaging 40K new cases per day. Just goes to show you that this COVID-19 thing is beyond politics. By the way, while we're wagging our fingers (or giving the finger) to white evangelicals like Sean Feucht and his followers, we might want to look at the data: cdph.ca.gov Latinos make up 39% of the CA population, but they represent 56% of the COVID-19 cases. (That number is probably higher because the "Other" category represents 0% of the CA population but 12% of the COVID-19 cases.) Think about that. Latinos are the main driving force behind the COVID-19 spread in this state, yet no one nags them for not following the rules. Luckily for us, Trump is dominating the headlines. Otherwise someone might notice that California, once an example of "flattening the curve," is now one of the leaders in the current surge. Tenchusatsu
