I enjoyed the letter too. It added perspective to my growing understanding of BTC. The "Ah Ha moment" difficulty of adjustment was a nice story to explain away the lever of control BTC gods will use to control pricing. So what is the matter with the way gold tempers its production via market function? Dialing up prime numbers at will? Whose will? The letter is a sales tool for the product Stone Ridge sells and I find no fault with hanging the carrot out there with $100K or $1000K targets. After all, most also include $zero as well. No one hangs a $zero outcome for gold.
