In the interest of tinkering, I bought my first bitcoin on the 21st of December, a couple hundred dollars worth, just to see if I understand it. As of now, I'm up sixty percent on it, so, I'm thinking I wish I'd experimented just a little more. Of course, I recognize it could be gone overnight but it is still fun to watch. Today, I saw a facebook post from a friend in India: "BTC touched $35,000. I know someone who got paid 715 BTC (instead of $250) when it was 35 cents. Today, his net worth is $25 Million."
