Do you believe people on all sides got a wake up call yesterday, and shall now take a deep breadth and give politics a rest? Or are you reckoning that the political divide shall further widen and social conditions deteriorate? The financial market either does not care or does not yet care. Had anyone written on this thread that street-kinetic storming in Washington DC of the Capitol Hill during a pandemic would be accompanied in NYC by stock market ramp, reasonable folks would have said what in response say 18 months ago? Truth seems to be that the market is not bothered, or that the market figures worse conditions would ramp stimulus that all would chip-in in socialized way.
