My neighbors had a tough time!!! It was quite a shock! They are wonderful parents though. They are older. And they have handled the problems very well. But they were both exhausted for three or four months. Mom nursed the baby so she had to stay close by. The baby didn't sleep at night. So dad often slept on the sofa. The baby had a terrible time with colic. It was a battle every night. When the baby was only a month or so old it would take mom all morning to wash and dress the baby. They luv the baby. Dad spends much time with it too. Last I heard he read the sports pages to his daughter!!! I think their daughter is very, very lucky. I haven't seen her for a few months because of the weather. But whenever I would see her she would just laugh. Her eyes would turn into the size of quarters. Mom said she liked me a lot. I think it was because I was around her from the beginning. Does Alex plan to spend a few weeks at home? I hope so.
