I have a question about "Aronex only interesting product is Zintevir (integrase inhibitor)for HIV". In HIV if integrase is inhibited, then the viral genome would not integrate into the host genome. Thus, it would stay episomal.

? #1) Would the viral genome integrate during cell division as a retrovirus?

? #2) Would the viral genome still be able to replicate as an episome...similar to an adenovirus?

Thanks for your help.

Where'd He Go?
