Communism lasted around 70 years in the Soviet Union so that means it started in the 1920s. At that point the gop hadn't put us into the Great Depression yet so it was most likely somewhat sane. It was during the Great Depression that republicans and big business went through their insanity phase, fearing they'd never get power again after they crashed the economy. But they both came up with something new - meaningless slogans. Damn Fraud. He showed us how easy it is to manipulate the human mind and republicans haven't looked back.
