Hey, I live in Texas. Getting a gun is probably no difficult than it is in Florida. Admittedly, my brother is in Seffner has several and I have none, but he is a Trump supporter...

i fully understand the difference between war and peace. I also understand the difference between normal people and bullies. Giving bullies what they want only ensures they will come back for more. This isn't the first violence by that tribe. If it were, you would have a point. But it isn't. It is in no small part the reason they support Trump.

Now admittedly a part of my stance might have to do with growing up on the autism spectrum. Bullying was part of my life. A big part. I am talking about being held down and kicked in the face kind of bullying. I tried the turning the other cheek. It only got worse. They live for that.

As to what happened on the 6th, there are no good answers. It isn't like there have never been demonstrations in DC before. With many more people. But from pictures, the police had heavier protection for the Lincoln Memorial against the BLM protestors(Hello? Lincoln? BLM?) than were guarding the Capitol Building. Despite knowing for weeks what was likely to go down. But, white terrorists are not supposed to exist and it was being sanctioned by the president. So...

Not to mention, an awful lot of off-duty police and active and retired military were involved in the storming of the capitol. So I guess it was professional courtesy that the Capitol Police didn't stop them.
