The whole security was absurd . besides beiing completely undermanned there had to be dozens of sympathizers amongst the capitol police ranks who really put congressmen lives at risk by their failure to do what they were paid to do. I hate to say this but I find it appalling that the capitol police unit is not run by an anti terrorist expert because thats what our congressmen deserve and need. if it were me i would station armed carriers by the capitol and each of our state legislatures. Trump is not an idiot, He is a malicious psychopathic mass murderer. other peoples lives mean nothing to him. we have seen this time and time again.
