You are correct the article is full of half truths. Chrysler did repay and Continental used FDIC money. The tricky one is Mexico - yes they paid early, but they used IMF money to do so. The IMF loan came right after we put new money into the IMF. Coincidence? It's a matter of how much you trust the politicians. The big press conference made me suspicious - which is why I looked into it.
