Whatitisism or Human error
That was interesting TimF, I enjoyed the cadence. I have never subscribed to the idea that we progress ideally. I think we are going forward and our freedom has never been greater, the web here is democratic. Anyone can have a webserver and get an IP and set up a website, the web is a public network. Most websites are hosted on lots of big and small CDN networks from Cloudflare to Reflected.net (<0.01%). You can find a host for anything on the web, or be your own host, make your own rules. The rules that apply to everyone like "No shirt, no shoes, no service" are very easy to parse. In America today we have a degree of information freedom and autonomy never before possible.
I have never supported violence but accept and understand that it is part of Whatitisisim. And we have authoritarians who want to control others, they use a violence as a tool to control people. And people use violence to advance agendas, clearly demonstrated in the Capitol insurrection. That violence is often met with violence, resistance to violence is often violent. Law and order is founded on the concept of justice, an impartial view of any set of facts.T Trump is a habitual liar, there was no election fraud, this was decided in American courts of law. Not in a court of law but in many, and for many reasons, including the merits. This is clear and incontrovertible. It is exactly why there are courts of law. The capitol violence was an insurrection targeting America and the rule of law. The people responsible for the death and destruction at the Capitol are just criminals, not protesters. They were a group of destructive, misled people who intended to do violence. And their violence was intended to overturn the rule of law, an attack on democracy The violence perpetrated was against America, against the institutions of America. So no, there is not any chance that they are protesters or patriots, they are traitors and violent thugs. Any patriotic American Libertarian would know this and would not need to ask a Canadian.
Did you know? In Canada a Libertarian is a hybrid of Liberal and a Rotarian, usually in it for the lunches. |
