Cacaito: Thanks, Really THANKS.
As I am sure you saw from my previous posts: On January 9, 1998 the FDA advised North American Vaccine "that CERTIVA is on track for completing final steps to licensure." At that time the FDA requested additional information. If was information that NVX could readily supply ("inhouse"). I would assume that by now this information is being reviewed by the FDA review committee. We are not talking about clinical data here. It has nothing to do with efficacy or safety as the shorts would have you believe. My take is that this was a last minute request that was brought on by changes in the FDA's requirements that regulate the manufacture of vaccines and others a lot closer to the situation then I am have publicly supported that view.. It coincided with FDA " Warning Letters" that went out to the other manufacturers of whooping cough vaccines re their manufacturing facilities. If this is indeed the case NVX would have little trouble being able to provide an acceptable response. After all, they do have one of the most advanced vaccine manufacturing facilites in the world. I am sure the FDA being literally right next door, have visited NVX's manufacturing facilities many times over the last several years. I do think we can expect FDA approval for licensing of CERTIVA anyday but with highest probability being early March. I think that if anyone tries to relate NVX, which is not a "biotech company" in the Wall Street sense of the term, to another company such as an ORG, as you mentioned, they will be in for a big disappointment. NVX is a drug company in the vaccine business. As to how the stock will react on approval, I'll take my clue from what you have said . You are a lot closer to the "technical" aspects of the market than I will ever be. "Fundamentally", and with a little bit of time NVX will be going alot higher any way you look at it and that is my perspective and I do have some very fine institutions that share that view with me. I have many reasons to believe that there will be a lot of extremely positive news coming out of the FDA approval. I also think that from there on out the Street will be peppered with NVX news that will have this stock behaving like a freight train. There won't be any station stops. Now if one does superimpose the "technical" aspects on to the "fundamentals" than just perhaps your metaphore of " taking off like a rocketship " is most appropriate. I am bias, I ware rosed color glasses, I am known as the "NVX BULL", but I also know how I got here. I have yet to here a credible argument that would have me be otherwise. We'll see, VERY SHORTLY :-}, :-}, :-}, :-}, :-}, :-}, :-}, :-}, etc. I am very confident. |
