| | | The thing is, the entire premise of the movement is based upon a lie - that the election was stolen.
How is this logical - If Trump won, the election was valid. If he lost, it was stolen?
There is no proof. Only canards showing up on alternative news sites.
Courts have decided 60-1 that there was no fraud. Every state certified their results as correct.
It's basically religion at this point, and you can't discuss religion with people.
I have no dog in this fight. I only objectively see what's going on. People have hate and divisiveness being pounded into their heads by constant echo chamber engagement. There is so much bias being hit like reward centers, especially confirmation bias.
Also, when you label people, you negate them. If anyone really wants to engage and have a legitimate discussion, the labels have to be set aside, or there will never be any middle ground.
Sorry for the rant. I just get tired of this stuff. I have a sister in law who works for a hate organization, and she was going off this weekend about how she was basically going to dig into deeper silos, as the ones she inhabits no longer fit her current biases.
Also, I have not heard a single supporter of last weeks raid on the capital mention support for the police, especially the cop who was killed by a fire extinguisher. That's very unfortunate, but also unsurprising. Lots of cognitive dissonance. |
