A clue on the PIPE valuations.

IPOF closed at$12.12 the day before they announced their merger with SoFi.

According to the investor presentation, the $1.225 billion PIPE was priced at $10.00, not an unacceptable discount for a PIPE investment.

Given that the stock popped to $18.74 the next day, a nice windfall for the PIPE investors, which included the sponsor.

PSTH is selling at at 45% premium to its liquidation value. When it announces a deal, will any PIPE investors be let in at $20,00 per share, or will the deal be priced somewhere closer to the prevailing price?
