Wow, Mephisto. Is it so cold where you live that everyone stays inside during the winter? I had no idea. I am getting cabin fever myself. The season's WORST storm is apparently starting. That is hard to imagine, since it has already been very wet here. Now the ground is saturated with water, and trees and poles are expected to crash and fall in the next couple of days. Your neighbor's baby sounds very happy, and she is lucky because she has good parents who are devoted to her. It is VERY healthy for a baby when her daddy spends a lot of time with her. My daughter is extremely close to her daddy because he helped so much, and still spends huge amounts of time with her. Mothers nurture and soothe and comfort, and dads do too, but dads also roughhouse and urge their children to take risks and push them out into the world a bit, so the combination is just ideal for developing a happy, balanced child. I don't know what Alex is planning to do. Usually, dads have to go back to work pretty quickly, but it is nice to take some time off. I hope that whatever happens, Alex drops by a computer pretty soon and drops us a line about the exciting events.
